Wolf Boy

Sat 6th & Sun 7th June 11.30 & 14.30

Join Drama in the Woods for a unique open-air theatre experience that brings your children on a magical, immersive and interactive adventure through the Gardens.

Wilf is 8 years old and was born to be a wolf. He’s always a wolf — but today, he’s also a pirate. Yesterday he was an explorer, and the day before that, an astronaut. Of course, the surface of the moon was actually the smooth, earthy floor beneath his favourite tree in the communal gardens he shares.

Today, that tree is his pirate ship — unless grumpy neighbour Mr Doukas has his way. After a heated argument, Wilf’s mum forbids him from playing there. Heartbroken, Wilf renames himself Wolf Boy and runs away to the woods in search of his true pack.

Along the way, Wolf Boy meets strange and wonderful woodland creatures — but finding where you belong isn’t easy.

Will Wolf Boy discover his true pack? Will he be welcomed in? And will he ever return home?

The power of stories. The power of the imagination.

Moving Parts Theatre Company brings you Jane Austen’s Northanger Abbey. A thrilling Gothic tale of dark deeds… or a playful, heart warming Regency romance. Let’s find out, shall we?

Following the huge success of last summer’s Vanity Fair, this brand new adaptation of Austen’s most theatrical novel, written by Joanna Nevin, Martin South and Simona Hughes, with an original score of music by Tamara Douglas-Morris, follows the fortunes of Catherine Morland, a wild devotee of “horrid” fiction.

Growing up in a world of balls, bonnets and Bath society, Catherine dreams of discovering secrets, skeletons, and ancient mysteries. But does she have what it takes to become… a HEROINE?
