School visits are limited to a class (30 pupils) rather than entire year. Should you wish to bring single classes along please contact us and we will check our diary for you. We have a range of self guided worksheets available. Use of facilitis are free for schools in the London Borough of Barnet

As the gardens are part of a listed estate and part of a conservation area, we do have to ensure we protect the environment and natural habitats.
For us to consider your visit we would need:
A full list of proposed activities
Number of staff and any security personnel attending
An understanding of which areas of the gardens that can be used (Not going into fenced areas, not going into the undergrowth or flower beds, not disturbing log piles as examples)
The use of the Gardens or Playground for commercial/private Schools, nurseries and playgroups is subject to a charge of £25 per Hour
All school groups need to inform us of their activities prior to their visit to avoid clashes with trust activity - Please email vsm@stephenshouseandgardens.com.
Picnics for school groups are not allowed on the lower lawn
