Gardening mornings 10.30 - 13.00    20th October, 17th November,  

We welcome volunteers to carry out work on the estate. It is a chance to show your love in a practical way and to meet other like minded people.

Volunteers carry out a range of tasks on the main estate including clearing weeds & brambles and assisting in the Visitor Centre.

Visitor Assistants

Our Visitor Assistants man our  Visitor Centre at the main entrance to the Gardens 

Your role will be making visitors feel welcome and ensuring their visit is friendly, enjoyable and safe. You will develop a good knowledge of Stephens House & Gardens and the Stephens Collection.  You will also develop knowledge of the surrounding area and transport links to enable visitors to receive accurate and relevant information to enhance their visit. 

Shifts are available 6 days a week Tuesday - Sunday. Full training given

The Bothy Gardeners

The Bothy Gardeners meet in the Bothy Garden on Friday mornings between 10.00 - 13.00 to maintain this marvellous walled garden 

You do not need any special skills to be able to help as we are sure to find a task to match your ability.  Why not call into the Bothy on a Friday for an informal chat with its Keeper Alison Dean
