Watercolour Tulips

Celebrate tulip season with a watercolour painting workshop with local tutor and professional artist Laura Fishman.
In this informative and relaxing workshop, Laura will show you how to mix the intense colours and delicate tones that can be found in tulips. During the class Laura will demonstrate drawing from observation and various watercolour techniques appropriate to painting tulips before guiding you as you work on your own paintings.

An Event for London Creativity and Wellbeing Week
Did you know that Stephens House & Gardens was home to the 19th century manufacturer of the "indelible blue-black" writing ink, Stephens' Ink? Ink is also a fantastic medium for creating expressive drawings!
Visual artist Rebekah Dean will be presenting an Expressive Ink Drawing Workshop in appreciation of this wonderfully creative and versatile medium.
The group will be walking and exploring the gardens for inspiration and experimenting with drawing techniques using dip pens, brushes and inks.
All materials will be provided

New for 2024, Quantum presents a delightful new adaptation of Beatrix Potter’s much-loved tale — The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck .Prevented from hatching her eggs at the farm, foolish Jemima goes in search of a nesting place in the forest and soon she meets a charming ‘gentleman’ who offers her the perfect nesting place in his wood-shed.
But why is his wood-shed full of feathers and why is he asking her to collect the herbs for roast duck?
Back at the farm, the Collie-dog, Kep, puts two and two together, but will he be in time to rescue Jemima from her fate?

Yoga

A simple one hour online session for beginners / intermediate, designed to both strengthen, stretch and relax the body. Using both static and dynamic poses, the focus will be on mindful breath and movement.
Session at 10am Join from 9.55am You can log on a few minutes before for a chat or ask questions
